TV Stands

This stand was the perfect fit for a corner in our 10.5'X16' den. PROS:1. The finishes are very shiny and the materials are of high quality. 2.We had a tough minute or two when figuring out how to assemble it but once we got it, it was easy. One thing to note is that it is a very sturdy, heavy piece which is great once it's all set up but due to the heaviness, you will need 2 people to assemble it. It's worth every penny and the little trickiness of assembly though because it's a great stand. 3. We are using it with our 40" samsung LCD tv and it was very easy to get the right settings for that tv. The height is adustable too which is nice because ours had to just clear a short, half wall. 4. There are 3 viewing angles as well that you can choose from when assembling the stand. We used the middle, non-angled setting and it's perfect at the height we have it at.CONS1. Honestly the only thing I would complain about is that short moment during assembly when I couldn't figure it out. However, as I noted above, it just took a minute to look at the pieces and the directions and think and then I was fine. I'm glad to see that the market for tv stands is beginning to develop options for flat screen tvs. As with most things, the 'new' designs are initially expected to use the support pieces for the 'old' designs (big,giant tube tvs with large, hulking stands). I bought this TV stand to use with our home treadmill. I mounted a Vizio 20" flat screen that weighed approximately 25 lbs with no issues. As I learned during my research, the allen head set screws are a little lacking overall in comparison to the overall quality of the stand. However, that is a minor design shortfall overall.
