We were looking for any simple stand for our 65" Panasonic plasma VT25 for under $300. We had the same problems with most options: not tall enough; not wide enough; shelves too short; too small for components; too ugly; too expensive. On top of that we have a real mess of components that we needed space for (HTPC, Wii, Onkyo receiver, PS3 fat, DirecTV, VCR, DVD player, lan router and hub, Street Fighter II fight stick, and other game controllers.As soon as we saw this beauty, we ignored the [$] price tag because it looked absolutely perfect. It is beautiful and elegant, it's wide enough to have a couple inches of give on either side of our 65" (and even has room for the two front speakers), it supports a lot of weight, it's tall, it has a ridiculous amount of space for components.I don't know if many people don't buy this or just can't find it, but there should be lots more reviews explaining how amazing it is. The only thing to watch out for is the size (but you should naturally expect that). It is enormous and heavy. It's not too hard to do as a one-man job, but a tip if you do: when you lay the top shelf down, stick one of the metal arms into it and that will support it."..." Read more
