The TV stand was easy for me to assemble by myself and it looks absolutely gorgeous. It fits my apartment perfectly.
I was looking for a TV stand that would be easy to set up and transport when moving to another place. This isn't it. The frame isn't a problem but the wonderful tempered glass shelves are heavy. Not an issue if you don't intend to move it.
Additionally, I like to store my DVDs on the TV stand shelves and while the top shelf is tall enough for a DVD to stand on end, it's blocked by the wood face covering the top half of that shelf. I'll have to adjust.

For this price point, this stand can hardly be beaten. The black/mahogany contrast is very classy. The stand itself is as sturdy as any glass/metal stand I've seen.
This stand accommodates full sized gear! I have separate pre-pro and amplifier (each 8" high x 17.5" deep), which fit neatly on bottom. Total of 120 lbs, no strain. I also have a 10" tall center channel speaker on top shelf, and a 55" TV mounted. There is still a 2.5" gap, so a 60" might even fit."..." Read more
