Easy to assemble. Even a 5 ft tall woman like me can handle it. The only thing is the middle leg somehow is a little taller than the legs at the corners. I use 4 felt pads at the corner legs so the unit can be slided easily & it works out great. The unit wobbles without the pads. It was not the legs themselves but the spacing of the predrilled holes that caused this, I think. The depth of the unit fits my receiver only marginally. You need add an inch or so to allow for the the cable connectors to the back of your receiver. So you may not want to nail the back panel all in until after you positioned & connected all the equipment. I had to leave one session of the back panel not nailed it to get an extra inch out of it. It was lucky I have a built in space for the unit so the back penal is out of sight. This is not solid wood. I found solid wood over-rated since today's electronics are so light weight & conpact. We used to need to move every few years. If that's the case, I would recommend solid wood so it can endure all the abuse when in transit. If you plan to stay put for a awhile, I do recommend this unit."..." Read more
