I am so happy with my purchase. It looks exactly like the picture. It is sturdy, has lots of room for glasses, bottles and of course wine. And I love the sliding top. It is a great buy for the money. I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews. Especially about putting it together. I didn't have anyone to help me and even the directions say you really should have two people. It took my about 3 hours. The longest time was spent checking off all the pieces, reading the directions, looking at the pictures and seeing how everything went together. After that it was really quite easy. I just double checked myself each time I connected a piece. I had ordered book cases a month ago so had some experience with putting this type of furniture together and that was helpful. I figured the doors would be hard but they fit perfectly and close like a dream. The finished product is a useful, solid piece of furniture. My friends are quite impressed that I did this on my own and we all love how it looks. I am going to get different knobs for the doors and drawer. The ones it came with are ok but I want a little nicer ones.
Product ok, but packaging and material no good

In case you are not aware, this is an RTA (ready-to-assemble) piece, which is fine. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to follow the instructions. When the box arrived, it did have a couple crushed corners but that's hard to tell if it came from the factory that way or was done in transit. Regardless, the packaging material used were not ideal for this type of unit. The pieces were packed with some cheap styrofoam that was broken and crumbled, likely from transit and those pieces got into every nook of the unassembled pieces. There were chunks and little crumbles that statically-clung themselves to every wood piece and as those pieces were pulled out of the box, the crumbles would fall to the floor or stick to my clothing. I had to use a couple Swiffer(r) dusters to unpack the unit. There was also a crack in the top of unit, which tells me that the faulty styrofoam isn't protecting the unit like it's supposed to anyway. As I was assembling the unit, the cam bolts provided to keep many if not all of the various connections together were made of a very cheap, thin metal and two of them actually broke inside of their pre-drilled hole, therefore I had to either go to the hardware store to purchase more, better quality, bolts or strategically decide which holes to use the ones that didn't break on so certain pieces would stay together and not cause the unit to be wobbly or leave gaps. Finally, other reviewers have asked if wine glasses can be stored in the unit and the response was yes, there is a rack for glasses. Well, I'm not sure what size glasses they were using or testing in the unit, but the glasses I have come nowhere close to being able to fit in the pre-cut rack (and I have nothing but regular Bordeaux glasses) . The rack is cut way too high in the top and does not allow enough room to fit the base of the glass into the grooves. Alternatively, I'm using the shelves for my glasses until I decide if I want to buy a metal rack to attach to the inside. Once completely assembled, it's a nice looking unit (I have the black model) and will serve its purpose. Just remember you get what you pay for and for the price, I would have expected a bit better quality.
Good quality and value, prompt delivery

This is a very nice piece once assembled. The packaging was fairly sturdy allowing only minor damage during transit. Keep your vacuum handy as the little styrofoam beads will cling to everything. Piece-count was perfect, and the directions were clear and easily understandable. I am familiar with assembling KD furniture products and would consider the assembly level a 2 on a scale of 5. The finish required touch up on a few edges and corners, which is not to be unexpected. I used marker-type applicators available at most home stores and it was easy. Overall, I am pleased with the piece as was the recipient as it was a gift.
Some repair required, but awesome liquor cabinet
BJ from Springfield, MO
I bought this wine cabinet to hold my glasses and my wine bottles however, I now use it for all of my liquor because the cabinet space is large. My friends love knowing where all of the liquor in my house is when they come over! A few complaints - the sliding table top grooves were broken off upon arrival. A little work with some Liquid Nails glue fixed it. Second, there was some damage on the wood from the packaging not being sufficient upon shipment. UPS really roughed it up, probably because the package was heavy. Also, my boyfriend complained profusely it was difficult to put together. Still deserves 4 stars for looking so nice and being so convenient!

We received a great discount price for the home furniture bar. The shipping was pretty quick (approx 2 weeks). It takes literally 3 hours to assemble the bar from A-Z. The quality and finishing paint is good (we chose color: Black). I love the concept how you can fit up to 18 wine bottles. It looks very elegant and am very satisfied with the product, shipping and service received. NO problems whatsoever. I will def be ordering more items through WayFair as I am 100% satisfied as a new customer.
Great Service from Wayfair!

Initially when we received our package there was some damage to the bar. I called Wayfair and they sent another one out right away! This was one of the more difficult pieces to put together, as some of the pieces didn't line up exactly. Overall, this was a good purchase. I am more pleased with the service I received!
Wonderful and Elegant Wine Bar adds class to Any Room

We love our wine bar! I bought it for my husband last year, and he put it up right away! It only took us about an hour to put together, and it has stayed in good shape all year. The storage space is a great addition, and we love to stock it with a large variety of wines and liquors for entertaining. The only thing we would fix, is that the latch on the top drawer broke about 3 weeks after we assembled the product. However, you can't tell from the outside.

Received this item with many parts broken, however wayfair was superb in working with me and shipping another unit out to me at no extra cost. That being said the second item received had a few items a little messed up but I just decided to glue those pieces in their places since they were not in visible spots and I didn't want to return and wait again. Now about the product.. The material is cheap.. Think of it as the same kind of compressed wood that IKEA furniture is made of. That was my first thought. Since it's not a piece of furniture that I use often I don't mind for now.. In other words it's not a piece that I expect to hold up for years to comd like a Crate and Barrel piece of furniture. Like I said.. You pay what you get for.. It does the job and does look terribly bad but people aren't going to exactly compliment you on it either. I gave three stars bc of how good wayfair was with their customer service.. The item deserves 2 stars.
Great Piece for Entertainment & Easy Access

My son was home for the holidays from college, and so I gave it to him to construct. He's not a handyman, but was able to assemble it with ease. Nice addition and very functional and it holds the contents of glasses and assorted bar items very neatly. It only loses points because the top, which extends and closes, is a bit clumsy and not very smooth. Otherwise, a great value!

I got this piece to use asaserving station at my nutritiocub. After seeing reviews about it arriving damaged, I was hesitant but ordered it. The shipping was incredibly fast and it is simple to assemble. We dd have a few nicks but called customer service and they will be seeing replacement parts. I love this bar.
