The chairs were delivered as promised. The instructions were extremely basic, but easy enough to follow. There were some areas where the paint was scraped/chipped off a three of the chairs. I only had one chair that was not wobbly after we assembled them. The instructions regarding "if wobbly" did not help. Hopefully with them being the uneven, will not cause them to break prematurely. They are a little on the small side as we have a very tall family. Overall, they are nice looking chairs, but may not hold up long term with everyday use. UPDATE: These chairs held up for only 6 months. They became very weak and unstable. Suddenly one of the chairs broke on Easter when a family member was sitting on it. I contacted Wayfair via email / chat and they instructed me to contact Square Trade (extended warranty) and tell them what happened as it was outside of the 30 day return policy. I contacted Square Trade and they explained that this matter was still covered with Wayfair and to contact them. At this point, I am getting upset as I have chairs that I can't use and getting the run-a-round. I waited a day and called Wayfair. Told them the situation and wow, we can take care of this!! Great but not so great as the refund could only be applied to the original form pf payment. This card that I used to purchase the chairs was fraud alerted and deactivated. So, I asked if they could send it via bank account routing number; no was the reply. They issued a store credit. 5 days later I am still searching for chairs... I have had very good experiences with Wayfair and will probably order from them again, I just will be careful with selections. I just think that this was a bad product. SO BEWARE!!! This could not have been predicted that my card would be compromised during the same time the chairs gave out. These are some really nice, really comfortable chairs. Easy to assemble and the directions were easy to read and understand. They arrived within the given time. NOW there is one thing I would (and did) change. According to the directions the chair should be assembled as the chair on the left in the first picture. That is immensely uncomfortable and throws you forward. You constantly feel as if you’re sliding out of it. So my husband assembled them as the chair to the right in the first picture. Far more comfortable and sits like a chair should sit. Not sure if we got strange directions, or if that’s how the manufacturer wanted them to sit. But definitely go with our change if you don’t want to slide out at the dinner table! *The wooden “dots” should go in the back if you want to do them like us. the front according to the directions..
