Solid build, modern style

First off, this thing is SOLID! The pieces were milled to very high tolerances, so it went together very easily. The black powder coating is really black, not the dark grey in the picture. I like that the rack is 17" deep. The bottles are well-protected (no necks sticking out). Most wine bottle shapes fit well in this rack (Bordeaux, Pinot, Riesling). Some of the wider styles (champagne/prosecco, some very wide Pinot) are too wide to fit side-by-side, but fit well if you stagger forward/backward. I normally carry just a few bottles of bubbly so I don't mind, but I wouldn't buy this for dedicated large bottle storage. Overall, I highly recommend this rack!
