sidewinder slide this is an awesome slide, even though it is quite narrow. i found it helpful to make the brace support so that the slide banks away from the turn so there is less likelyhood of the kids faling over the side. by doing this, i was able to raise the top and lower the bottom to increase the slope so the slide is faster, but still safe. this is 1 of our kids favorite slides |

Fun slide, a little hard to assemble I attached the Side Winder Slide to a Swing-n-Slide brand playset kit from another store. I mounted the slide to 5ft high platform and it is fast. My daughter basically has to do a running dismount else she'll slide on the ground or even do a roll. She loves it. You will want two people to assemble the slide, the bolts to connect the two slide parts are rather short which makes it hard to get them started unless you have everything lined up just right. It's only been a couple of days since I've installed the slide but I'm happy with it so far. |

A fun twist We bought this slide because we were wanting our son's play structure to fit in a back corner of our yard. The slide is perfect for this location and helps the structure to fit nicely. We attached the slide to a 5 1/2 ft. deck, so it is fairly steep, but he loves it. The only possible negative, although my 2 1/2 yr. old son doesn't mind, is that the slide shoots him out onto the ground at the bottom. I think this is because it is attached at the higher side of the range and also because the slide doesn't have a long flat finish at the bottom to slow him down. The slide ends very low to the ground though, so it isn't a hard landing and I think as he uses the slide more he will be able to catch himself. The slide was easy to put together and is of a good quality. |

Nice slide, for kids only though! Easy to install, is very sturdy, kids love it, too narrow for adult behinds (I'm 6' tall and 170 lbs and my butt doesn't fit). Also, make sure this slide turns in the direction you require, 'cause you can't change the direction. |
