Swing-n-Slide Ready to Build Custom Kodiak DIY Swing Set Hardware Kit - Project 514

This was pretty much a good purchase. We had to build it twice. A tornado came through and knocked it over. Thankfully it missed the new home. I'd rather re-build the swing set than the entire house. My husband is a mechanical worker and had to manufacture a new bracket since the main one wasn't "beefy" enough. However, even though they could have made the rest of the brackets sturdier (thicker metal) they seem to be holding up. This set only came with a cloth/plastic top so we added our own roof made out of cedar like the rest of the project so that it would last longer. Over all I gave it four stars, but it was a bit pricey and you still have to purchase the wood...

The turbo slide that we purchased has been great for my 7 year old and 2 year old grandson. What i liked was the tunnel shape slide because i don't have to worry about then fillowing off to the sides since its 7 feet high. My husband did not have any trouble assembling it. He assembled it in no time.
Just as pictured...just not what I needed (my fault)

I am having a play-set built and the contractor told me to purchase these. After searching everywhere, Wayfair had the cheapest price. They arrived within a day or two after I placed my order and look exactly like the picture/the product information is spot on. The only reason we are not going to be able to use them is because we made some changes to where the swings are going to go and these will no longer be necessary. If this is what you need, I would recommend this product. Take my advice and save yourself some time...buy on Wayfair!
Sturdy, but short

I build swing sets (The-Honey-Do-Man.com). I wish these were a little bit longer. I use a 4x6 beam, and they just make it to the surface. You can't use the nut that comes with it unless you counter-bore. I use a tap nut, which is not provided (they reach into the hole). But otherwise, these are strong. Uncle Edgar could ride this swing.
Great DIY swing set

Includes all the necessary hardware for setting up a basic and very solid swing set. The joining pieces are much stronger than some other (cheaper) choices. Much easier than buying the parts separately. You do need a few good tools to put this together but its not complicated. I've now purchased three sets for the grandkids.
Just as promised

I ordered this to add to a tree house that my husband built. It arrived quickly, in great shape and is a great addition to the tree house. The grandchildren love it!
Good backyard slide

We have a playhouse built on old telephone poles, so it was hard to find a slide tall enough for it. This 7 footer worked perfect. It was pretty tough to put together, the plastic didn't always line up for the holes. I would say it takes at least 3 people to do the finishing project, but definitely 2 to put all the pieces together. Invest in a good socket set too.
