Cool Wave Slide Mounted the slide a tad over five feet and built a small retaining area at the base. The area at the base is filled with four inches of rubber mulch. Works great. The three and four year old grandchildren love it. It is a bit fast at this height but the rubber mulch makes a soft landing when they end up on there rear rather than their feet. |

I would by again. The kids love the slide. Dismounting can be challenging for little kids, but mine like it. |

Fast Slide! I'm very happy with this slide but I'd just like to echo the other review that said this is a very fast slide if mounted above 5 ft. Older kids love it but my 3 year old will not go down by herself. I'm not looking for something to slow it down! |

Granddaughter LOVES her new slide. The 3 year old is very excited about her new big girl slide. This will last her quite a few years. Her daddy build a swing set and fort out of 4x4's. Much better than a store bought metal set that can flip over if swinging too high. |

Great Slide I attached this slide to a clubhouse platform that I made. The easy assembly and strong mounting screws made the job a cinch. I attached it in less than five minutes. Great product. |

A little too fast I mounted this to a 5'4" deck height, as this slide was rated at up to a 5'6" height. The slide is too steep at that height so kids go pretty fast. That wouldn't be too big of a deal, but the bump in the middle of the slide launches the kids into the air a little, and then land on the bottom and go flying. We've had several kids remark it's "too fast" and a "dangerous" slide, but the older kids (5+) all end up getting the hang of how to control their speed and end up enjoying it. So far all the 3 and 4 year olds on it have wanted to be assisted down the slide and are too scared to go on their own. I'd suggest that it probably would work best at about a 4'6" height, or no more than 5'. Beyond this issue it seems to be good quality and it was easy to put into place. It is pretty strong with the support in place. I've gone down it as have other adults -- the only issue with that is it isn't wide enough for our butts to fit! |

About right. A 2x4x10 works fine. Required about 45 min to install since I have clay soil. A second person is a big help. Fast and fun, my kid & his friends like it. |
