timber valley swing set
Anna from Huntingtown, MD– Verified Buyer
I bought this swing set for my grand children. It was delivered in the time frame it was promised. My Husband helped me with leveling the 4 posts of the little house and with the floor for it. From then on I was by myself. It took my about 26 hours to put the swing set together. The instructions were very easy to follow, all pieces were nicely numbered as were the screws and bolts etc. 2 broken boards were replaced without delay. I thought all went really nice. I was quite proud of myself for putting it together more or less by myself. The grand children and their friends already used it and they all seem to like it a lot.
Great play set!

This play set is really nice when it's done. It does take a lot of assembly but the end product is worth it. My kids have enjoyed it. Cedar is soft wood so some of our boards were not straight but my husband and I got it together. The hardware is great and the instructions are pretty good. Just make sure you orient yourself and follow each step explicitly and you should be fine!
Lovely and Fun

My husband put this together for our 2 year old over the course of a few days. He did a great job and our little boy loves it! He plays on it almost every night. With the exception of a few splintering boards, it looks great. I can tell the stain may fade over time, but that is to be expected. Good product, and it doesn't hurt that we got it at a great price on sale.

My grandchildren love the finished product! -- was more time consuming than I thought it should be to put it together. The directions were a little confusing-----pictures and diagrams helped.

Well worth the money but takes more than 1 person to assemble.
You get what you pay for.

Some of the wood was split, screws and bolts are not large enough and some pulled out within days. Slide pulled off, and ladder fell apart. The directions were rediculous to read and parts were dispersed among 3 boxes. Took 2-3 relatively handy people 3 days to put together! In hind-sight, I'd pay more for more substantial play set.

The delivery was 5 days late. All the parts were mismarked so it took around 20 hours to figure out the puzzle and this by a guy who can take a car apart and put it back together! Now that it's up, it's a beautiful playset.
