Great Sink at a great price. The Swanstone sink was purchased to replace the original double well concrete sink that was originally installed in the house in 1932. We were told by a reliable plumber that a new brass faucet for the sink would cost more than upgrading the entire sink, so we purchased this product. While we have had the sink for less than a month, and used it mainly to wash our dogs, we are very pleased with the product. |

Couldn't be happier. After replacing our old laundry tub, the laundry space just looked cleaner and brighter. I wouldn't have thought that something so small could make such a big difference. [...]Can't say enough positive about this experience. |

A Pleasant Surprise I bought this sink to replace our old porcelain-covered cast-iron job in our basement laundry area. (I was lucky I was standing there when the drain fittings rusted through during a wash cycle.) For the price I paid, I was expecting a cheap, plastic piece of %^*&, but I was pleasantly surprised. The size was perfect. No, it's not porcelain (get used to more splash noise), but it's well made and will, I bet, last the rest of my lifetime (and, possibly, the lifetime of the next homeowner). Installation was easy, aided by the use of PVC drain fittings and pipes. Additional needed parts were readily available at the local hardware store. Faucets were a non-issue for me because mine are wall-mounted, but I cannot imagine on-sink installation would be any more difficult than with any other sink. |
