Hi Jude. It's called Veritek, a compression molded material without a surface treated that is not coated. However it is non-porous, and will not mold or mildew.

product looks like PVC with a fancy name. I cracks very easily. I would guess if something heavy would be dropped in it a crack would occur.

I use this sink in my garage and have it set in a countertop and it looks great there. There's not much you can say about a sink except how it looks. Only time will tell if it is durable.

Love the sink! it is a nice product and works great! there was a problem with the cutout dimensions as there wasn't ample counter left to fix the hold down tabs.

UPS was very timely on delivery as it was delivered the day after arrival at the local UPS terminal, which is more than i could say for the faucet ordered at the same time that came FEDEX. it sat in the Sacramento wherehouse for 4 days prior to delivery!

Perfect Sink For My Garage

I ordered this sink to install in my garage as a cleanup sink. I do Custom wood work and am always washing paint brushes etc... the deep, large size makes this a simple task. The sink cleans up with a simple wipe down. If I get any staining, a little powered cleanser cleans it up like new without scratching. Also, one of the things I liked best about it was, there were no pre drilled holes. I was able to add any accessory I liked and where I wanted it on the sink. Because of the material used to manufacture the sink, drilling the holes using a simple uni-bit was a breeze. The stopper is a little weak and will have to be replaced as it doesn't really seal and hold water well.
