Swanstone Rectangular Retrofit Shower Base - SR3260

I was very unhappy with the product. I was led to believe on the manufacturers web site that I was purchasing a solid stone shower base. The plastic unit is not what I wanted, especially considering the price. As for Wayfair, I was extremely happy with their service and business performance. I will be purchasing from them in the future.

I use product CLR to get hard rusty water stains off. it cleans up so good.

I've always considered the usual fiberglas shower pans to seem somewhat cheap so looked instead at this Swanstone model because I wanted the advantage of solid surface material. When the unit arrived, I was initially a bit dismayed since the unit seemed lightweight right out of the box. However, installation is everything. I followed Swanstone's recommendation to set the unit in a masonary slurry and it is now solid as a rock (no pun). Although it may not have the same aesthetic appeal of tile, the lack of grout joints and internal square corners makes cleaning much, much easier. I would recommend this unit and StudentMarket.com was MUCH cheaper than I found elsewhere on the internet.

Service Review

Because of its size/weight, the product is shipped by freight carrier. I was a bit leary of this method, but the shower pan arrived at my front door on the day promised.
