The description provided was deceptive. This is also a consumer rip-off because it would have been best to see and feel a product like this before you buy. This company is counting on people making assumptions like we did. The dull "surface" has no protection against stain. This cheap, thin, plastic product is hugely overpriced.

Economical; does the job

We purchased this vanity top to fit a standard 60"x 21" vanity from a big box store, because the old vanity top had only 1 sink and we wanted 2. Our handyman installed it in 1 day and it looks great. The color is stark white -- looks very clean. The material feels like a hard plastic - it does not feel like granite or Corian but at this price it's solid enough. My only minor criticism is that the underside of the overhang has a sharp edge rather than rounded edge. Nevertheless, a very good value for the price.

For more than 40 years, Swanstone has been creating innovative and affordable solid surface products and materials for customers all over the world. It started in 1964, when they introduced the Swan Shell Shower, a doorless, shell-shaped shower that captured the spirit of its time.
