I didn't think there was anything to be done with a beloved wing chair that was shredded by our cats. I had not thought of slip covers until I saw how a slip cover rejuvanated a love seat. I assumed there wasn't a slip cover that could fit wing chairs but I noticed they offered the option. I reluctantly ordered one and my wing chair has come to life again. I can't say that the fit is so perfect that it looks the way it used to, but it is a different aesthetic and it has a type of charm that the chair didn't have without it. The bid to reupholster my wing back chairs was $700 / chair. They are comfortable, classic chairs that are worth using, but maybe not worth spending that much on upholstery. These slipcovers did the trick at less than $100 / chair. They are great in appearance - they look like leather but they are fabric. The color is a dark chocolate, which is nice and rich. They fit well, although they still require tucking, particularly after my kids use them a few times. Much, much better fit than my previous cotton twill slipcovers. I would highly recommend them, with the obvious warning that they need tucking occasionally. Everyone in my family gravitates to these chairs now, and I attribute that to the soft, comfortable feel of these slip covers."..."  Read more

It is just a little on the large size on the arms of my antique wing chair (which does have skinnier arms than a standard new wing chair) but it appears to be well made and is still okay looking on the chair because of the style. I'm using it in my guest room which is decorated shabby chic and the chair cover fits into the room decor just fine. My husband and I were both surprised at how much more of a medium beige color the cover is...we were expecting (and hoping for) something with much more of an ivory background. I honestly debated sending it back because of the medium beige color but decided to keep it as it is kinda cute with the plaid, floral and check combo pattern...I've never seen another one as unique as this is and it really does fit in very well with the shabby chic decor. My thoughts are that the cover would fit best on a newer model wing chair with fatter arms. Overall though, it did fit really well around the chair, in the length, the height, and the T-cushion as well. They provide instructions that show you how you can do loads of tucking and tying to give a more custom fit if needed, and, with a little patience, you CAN make it work just fine. Covered 2 maroon coloured chairs and they look smashing! Friends who saw the end result couldn't believe they were slip covers. The taupe was darker than displayed but works well with our decor, rich darker colour! The texture was more prominent than swatch and has more brown flecks, this too helped cover dark colours. Bought used chairs for $30 and these slip covers made them look like new again! The covers were also in one piece and very easy to put on. With minor ajustments we have two comfortable, affordable chairs that look like their orginal value!"..."  Read more
