I'll try again

This product didn't work as I expected. I know several people with Air Coolers and this one just didn't perform like others I have encountered. This particular unit DOES blow out cool air but for some reason it makes the air in the room more hot and areas of the house with just a fan. I tested the unit in my bedroom with the door open at night, the unit used water and worked all night, but it was more hot in my bedroom than in any other room in the house. So I tried again, I have a small guest room (about 12'x12'); I put the unit in the room, filled the unit to the max water line, put the unit on high, tested the air coming out...it was cool - closed the door to the room...I went back in the room 1 hour later and it was HOT in the room. Weird. I don't think the unit is kicking off any heat, it doesn't feel like it - but the room is definitely more warm than when I don't use this unit. When I sit within 1 foot of the unit the air is cool, but like I said it seems to heat up the rest of the room - so it's going back today. I will call Edison and see if they have any recommendations for these units...
Not great, but helps on HOT day!

This cooler seems to lower room temperature by a couple of degrees in low humidity; It does provide nice cooling comfort when directed 6-8 feet from user. The unit is mostly plastic with ice and water easily added on the side; Draining can be awkward as plug is on bottom and unit is heavy when full of water. The floater was stuck initially causing the refill alarm to sound. The mfr. responded quickly with an email that provided troubleshooting info that allowed me to resolve this issue.
Not bad Not great

It does its job. Liked the timer functionality. It does not cool entire room but cools in which direction it is being operated. Swing mode works nicely when you sleep. Not much difference between cooler and fan mode. Overall average product serves basic needs.
Easy to use!

This air cooler is very user friendly and easy to use. It works like a charm. It's very light weight and portable. My place is so small that I don't really need to use the remote, so I can't tell you how that works. But I love this little cooler. And I love your web site. Awesome prices!
Low Energy Usage

I love this cooler, it blows nice and cool. The colder the water the better (I like to add ice) and the best part is, it barely uses any energy!

My experience with the air coolers I ordered has been positive. I strongly recommend them to individuals considering an alternative to expensive air conditioners.
Tess from AZ
It is working out great and everything is fine with it. Everything is exactly what I was expecting size and qaulity wise.

like the improvement that was made between my first cooler and the second where the water filler door stays open when you go to add water whereas on the first model you had to hold it open which was awkward--
