seems to be working already

The tumbler holds quite a bit of material from the kitchen. I can see it will take quite a while to fill it up. The assembly is a little tedious because of all the bolts holding it together but doable. I would recommend NOT placing this unit directly on the ground as the chrome plating is extremely thin and the metal stand will rust easily. I put wood blocks under it or bricks would work equally as well. I would locate it over a dirt area as the thing drips brown goo sometimes. That is a little messy and tends to run down the outside which means you will get some on your hands when you are turning it over. The lid is a little difficult to open and requires a firm push and pull at the same time to open or close. My wife is unable to open it. I will have to make a tool to make it easier. I think if it the lids had a better means to get a good grip it would be easy to open and close.
LOVE this COMPOSTER!!!

There is nothing in this review that can be bad! I was thrilled at the quality of the barrel and the assembly was easy to do and the written instructions with pictures made it a snap. I kept repeating while my husband was putting it together, "I love this composter!" I can't wait till spring to get my hands in the rich soil this is going to create for me. The lid seemed hard to remove until you figured it out , then it comes on and off so easily. It is large but since it turns there won't be any more trouble trying to turn that soil at the bottom of the barrel. I'm going to anchor mine on cinder blocks so it will be elevated off the ground in order to get my wheel barrel under the composter when I want to dump it. It does come with spikes though, if you choose to anchor it right to the soil.

Wayfair description is exact. Very nice quality product. The only negative thing about it is the lid is a little tough for me to open and close.

Huge composter, much bigger than I had pictured. Assembly was a pain in the butt, definitely takes 2 people. My husband I got almost all the way to the end of assembly and realized we were missing 3 parts. I called the manufacturer directly and they sent them to me within 5 business days. Customer service was so nice. I just put it together so I don't know how it works yet

It was rather difficult for me to put together by myself. There were a lot of little bolts and for some reason there is a place on the base part that the holes dont line up so I was unable to bolt together. But it is fine, it doesnt compromise anything.
Suncast Tubler Composter

Have wanted a composter for some time. Looked at it in the box and decided I didn't have time to put together but that says more about my life than the product. Got someone else to put together, he said it was not difficult. Think I will enjoy it as the mulch is produced.

Big and easy to assemble. A bit tough to open lids at first, but better over time and has locks too. Strong and durable and stays out in the open. Great addition for soil generation for new plants in greenhouse. Best composter available on the market, you will be shocked at the value.

I have been looking for a composter for quite a while and decided on this well-priced one. It was fairly easy to assemble taking about 30 minutes. I like the fact that you can just tumble it with relatively little effort.
Overall happy, but...

Overall, this is a wonderful composter! It's just the kind of thing I've been looking for, and seems sturdy. But please be warned that it takes awhile to put together, and the inside assembly is a bit tricky.

This was a great buy! Perfect for a regular size yard, just right size for kitchen scraps and lawn clippings!
