Looks Nice from Pittsburgh, PA on 07/23/2014 – Verified Buyer
I actually bought these to solve a problem. I had my gutters and downspouts replaced last year. The gutters are one piece but were not angled properly. I had tons of water pouring on to my deck and front walkway from the ends of the gutters. I have since had the gutter angled properly but the ends of the gutters still leak, even though they were sealed per the repair company. So basically, I bought these to prevent the dripping water from my gutters from ruining my deck or foundation and so I could drain the water away from my foundation. As an added bonus I thought I could use the water from the barrels to hose my deck. The barrels are sturdy and hold the drainage from the gutters. The clamps they sent to hold the hoses from leaking I found difficult to attach. I actually went to the hardware store and bought new ones. Without the clamps, particularly on the bottom black hose, water leaks from around the outside of the hose. I did buy a separate attachable hose to connect to the black hose on the tub so I could use the water in the tub on my deck but the water won't flow out of the tub unless the hose is far lower than the tub. So the tub works for collecting water and it looks nice but I can't imagine how anyone could use this water say for gardening purposes unless the tub is positioned uphill from the garden and you just lay the hose on the ground. Gravity and the weight of the water is not enough to get the water out of an attached hose in and of itself if you are on the same level as the tub. Collection works great. But don't count on getting the collected water out easily to water your garden.

This item is awesome! Absolutely perfect! from Santa Maria, CA on 01/13/2015 – Verified Buyer
I have carnivores plants which need rain water or R.O. water so I'm always trying to save rain water in buckets, barrels, whatever I can fill. I bought my first one of these and it is so absolutely perfect, I've since bought 2 more. The only thing I'd warn you about is at the bottom of the container; where the water hose comes out is a black, star shaped nut. TIGHTEN it as tight as you can. The first time our container was full, we didn't realize that was like a stopper. We had it tightened, but not tight enough and the water leaked out at that point and went right into the ground. Since tightening those nuts as tight as possible, not one has leaked and right now ALL 3 of ours are full to overflowing! These are everything I hoped for and worth every cent!

Handy for storing unused water from San Rafael, CA on 04/07/2015 – Verified Buyer
I purchased this rain barrel to use on my front deck to store water from my sink and bathtub from our bathroom. I use a bucket to carry the water a few steps from the bath to the barrel right outside the front door. I attached a long hose that runs to my flower garden in the front yard. Now I can easily water my garden and trees while hardly stepping out the door. I am in California where we are in a major drought, so every bucket of water counts! The barrel arrived quickly from Wayfair and was easily assembled. It seems sturdy and hopefully will last a long time. I tightened the connections well and do not see any leakage, I'm not worried about the weight of the barrel on the deck, as it is quite light when empty and the water I add will never fill the barrel as long as I keep the line to the drain hose open. Pros: Nice shape, durable, great price

50 gallon rain barrel from The Villages, FL on 04/27/2014 – Verified Buyer
This low slung rain barrel is about the same height as our air conditioning unit which I find esthetically pleasing. My husband placed the rain barrel on two concrete paving blocks and we are on a sloped lot, so watering our flowers and vegetable garden by attaching a garden hose to the drain hose works extremely well. I like the fact that we can add a second rain barrel because I can foresee that strong Florida summer rains will fill our current rain barrel quickly, although the overflow hose at the side and the sloped overflow drain at the top should allow for easy drainage without creating a mess.

Rain Barrels from Grants Pass, OR on 08/26/2014 – Verified Buyer
Took a little while for these to get here but we ordered a lot of them. We have put up a few (not all of them yet) and they were easy to install; look great and catch water as advertised. Purchased these because they did not look like large garbage pans. They came completely assembled - Yea! Great value for the cost of the product. Am very please with them and recommend them to anyone wanting rain barrels.

rain barrel from Pontotoc, MS on 06/17/2015 – Verified Buyer
I looked at probably 20 different rain barrels of various designs and prices before I decided on this one. Usually we have a drought period beginning in July extending through August. The rain barrel is a practical method to supplement watering my little garden. There are a few very simple assembly steps to insert the hoses. It is not fancy but looks good. It was reasonably priced, It can be placed anywhere. I recommend it.

Great Deal on 50 gallon rain barrel! from Perry, GA on 07/23/2014 – Verified Buyer
Got a great deal; rain barrel arrived within 3 days; easy assembly. Last week, we finally got some steady rain, and I was able to harvest 100 gallons in just two days! Used some water for plants, transferred some to other containers for later use, and attached garden hose to rain barrel's and watered the lawn after the rain was gone.

Great Product! from Rockwell City, IA on 05/14/2015 – Verified Buyer
I'd looked everywhere to find this to add another in my sequence of rain barrels, so they matched! I was so happy to find it here, it is a great product at a great price. Only issues I've had with these is the bottom outlet gets dislodged and has to be drained to fix. Pros: Affordable, attractive Cons: bottom nozzle gets dislodged if bumped just right

Great supplement to rain from Anna, TX on 11/04/2014 – Verified Buyer
We bought 2 of these to link together at a back corner of the house near our raised vegetable garden. Constructed a cedar frame to hold pea gravel for leveling. Made a base of stacked bricks left over from our house construction and set the barrels on top with downspout feeding into one barrel. It's now raining!

Love! from Southington, OH on 09/14/2015 – Verified Buyer
This is the best purchase I've made in a long time! I do not have a hose outside and we have livestock outside. This ment we had to carry all the water outside.... pain in the butt! We set this outside under the gutter drain and it was full in one heavy rain. The water is fresh, it comes with a screen so water can only pass through, and it has a nozzle on the end. I am purchasing another on of these asap!
