Suitcases

I bought this suitcase specifically to have a four-wheeled carry-on that meets airline regulations of carry-on size. It is a very nice suitcase but considerably deeper than described. Without the front packets, it would be about the listed size. However, the packets, which, of course, cannot be removed, add at least another inch to the depth, even completely empty. So, while I really like the suitcase, I'm worried whether or not airlines will allow me to carry it on airplanes. Considering that meeting airline regulations was one of the most important issues for me when I decided to buy a new carry-on, this is definitely a big issue for me. However, for anyone planning to use this suitcase mostly for car travel, it would be a really a nice, practical, and sturdy case. I had purchased three of these bags previously for my husband, daughter and myself. They hold a lot, fit nicely in the overhead bin and have held up well. The largest suitcase Ive ever owned, and the first from American Tourister. Im happy to report that its more than roomy enough for (almost) everything two adults and a baby would need for a four-day trip. I expect the suitcase will be plenty big enough for the upcoming big test A week-long international trip. My only gripe is a missing tongue on the zipper that lets you access the handle frame in the back of the suitcase. The zipper is still usable, and given that I expect to never need to open it, Im not overly upset with the minor defect."..."  Read more

With airlines getting stricter about carry on bags, this bag is a must have! The 20 inch is the perfect size for domestic and especially international travel with the stricter size limits. It's durable and surprisingly roomy. I was amazed at how much stuff I could fit inside. I love the attention to detail such as the many pockets and how I can access some from the outside as well as the inside. This makes it so much easier, especially when going through airport security.
