Suitcases

We purchased 4 suitcases for our family to travel to DC and NY with only carry on luggage (did not check any luggage) and were extremely pleased using these bags as our primary luggage. Uses: The suitcases were perfect to carry on the airplane, metro, Amtrak, bus, and rental car. Very easy to carry on all forms of public transportation. The wheels held up rolling to and from hotels while crisscrossing NY and DC. They are compact and easily fit in the trunk of a car and in overhead luggage racks or even at your feet in a crowded bus. Their sleek design makes them easy to slip into spaces where other luggage could not. Volume: The suitcase holds an amazing amount! Because it only has two main compartments, no room is wasted on more dividers or zippers. We each packed a week of casual summer clothes (shorts, capris, T-shirts), one dressy outfit (for a wedding), one extra pair of shoes, and toiletries. My measurements were slightly different than advertised: 21 x 16 x 8 1/2" Durability: The suitcase shell is hard, but slightly flexible. Has a textured surface that can scuff, but for the price, no worries. The zipper is my only concern....while none of ours broke, I cautioned everyone to zip gingerly and take great care in lining up the top and bottom of the suitcase. We filled our suitcases (each between 20 and 25 pounds), but did not overfill. The wheels held up to over a mile of cumulative wheeling. I'm not sure I would want to check these bags on an airline without an added strap around the girth for support; if someone threw this suitcase when it was heavily packed, it might not hold up. I would highly recommend this well built top quailty product to anyone. The ease of lots of storage room,the rolling ability,the lock & key feature to assure your items placed inside for safety from theft, the ID tag feature. I am a seamstress so I know quailty stitch & zippers when I see it and this item was made with lasting materials,top grade locking seamline stitch work & top grade zipper detail for rougerous daily use to open & close. Perfect for any travel needs to be work or fun, also great for crafters to use at conventions needs. I love it & for the price of [$] per item it's a wonderful purchase made. This little suitcase is a gem! I traveled with it for two weeks in England. I had a tote, and this- and I did great! If you are going on a weekend or 3-5 day trip it is absolutely perfect. It was in and out the airport, the underground, escalators, motels, B & B's. Unlike my previous spinner (Samsonite- which cost more, & fell forward all the time, even without the extended part filled) this suitcase was perfectly balanced. Not once did it fall forward. All spinner suitcases roll better on hard floors, than carpet, and this was no exception. It fit in overhead easily in the planes. The only improvements that I wish it had were bigger and stronger zippers & a little more room. These zippers held up fine, but they caused me some worry. Good buy!"..."  Read more

This is a very good product, just as advertised (we have other Heys luggage). I prefer the larger two wheeled in-line models as Im not sure how these 4 spindly wheels will hold up, but this will not be checked bagage so Im less concerned. The easy access flap is perfect for a laptop and travel documents for the TSA goat-rope. Planning on using these (bought two) for a Europe trip and these will eliminate heavy backpacks and computer bags for easier carry-on travel. At least half the case is accessible from the flap, laptop, Kindle, books, travel books and maps, etc. Nice inside pouch for travel documents. This will also allow a lot of the heavier TSA acceptable items to be left out of the checked luggage. Wished it came in orange to match the Heys luggage."..."  Read more
