Suitcases

This little suitcase is a gem! I traveled with it for two weeks in England. I had a tote, and this- and I did great! If you are going on a weekend or 3-5 day trip it is absolutely perfect. It was in and out the airport, the underground, escalators, motels, B & B's. Unlike my previous spinner (Samsonite- which cost more, & fell forward all the time, even without the extended part filled) this suitcase was perfectly balanced. Not once did it fall forward. All spinner suitcases roll better on hard floors, than carpet, and this was no exception. It fit in overhead easily in the planes. The only improvements that I wish it had were bigger and stronger zippers & a little more room. These zippers held up fine, but they caused me some worry. Good buy!"..."  Read more

Amazing how this Brit company could figure out how to manufacture a rugged suitcase that is extremely light while the competition builds suitcases more than twice the weight. With 50 lbs. limit, this makes for very careful packing. Now I gain an extra 8 to 9 lbs."..."  Read more

It is smaller than I thought. Note that it is not expandable which is definetely a minus. About the lock on the side. When I came home from my trip to the States (I live in Iceland) I found a note from the US customs inside my bag letting me know that my suitcase had been a victim of random selection (they didn't use those words), they had to open up my bag an search it, which is why my lock might be broken. My lock wasn't broken. As a matter of a fact if they hadn't put a note inside, I wouldn't have noticed that my bag had been opened up. So having a TSA-safe lock, that is permanently placed on the side of the suitcase is a definite plus! As the capacity was a bit less than I thought it would be, I had to cram everything into it, sit on top of it and try to close the zipper that way. I thought it would explode. I did make sure that the zipper was properly closed (no mismatched teeth on the zipper) and it stayed closed all the way back to my home in Iceland. I definetely recommend this bag for when you don't need to take a lot with you and you want to check in your baggage. It is light (3.8 kgs) and seems sturdy and very well built."..."  Read more

Bought luggage for my daughter as she is over seas for 2 months and we needed a very light suitcase. We'll see when she returns how it held up. Hope to use it again later on."
