Suitcases

This little suitcase is a gem! I traveled with it for two weeks in England. I had a tote, and this- and I did great! If you are going on a weekend or 3-5 day trip it is absolutely perfect. It was in and out the airport, the underground, escalators, motels, B & B's. Unlike my previous spinner (Samsonite- which cost more, & fell forward all the time, even without the extended part filled) this suitcase was perfectly balanced. Not once did it fall forward. All spinner suitcases roll better on hard floors, than carpet, and this was no exception. It fit in overhead easily in the planes. The only improvements that I wish it had were bigger and stronger zippers & a little more room. These zippers held up fine, but they caused me some worry. Good buy!"..."  Read more

This is a very good product, just as advertised (we have other Heys luggage). I prefer the larger two wheeled in-line models as Im not sure how these 4 spindly wheels will hold up, but this will not be checked bagage so Im less concerned. The easy access flap is perfect for a laptop and travel documents for the TSA goat-rope. Planning on using these (bought two) for a Europe trip and these will eliminate heavy backpacks and computer bags for easier carry-on travel. At least half the case is accessible from the flap, laptop, Kindle, books, travel books and maps, etc. Nice inside pouch for travel documents. This will also allow a lot of the heavier TSA acceptable items to be left out of the checked luggage. Wished it came in orange to match the Heys luggage."..."  Read more

My wife and I currently have 5 other suitcases from Travelers Choice that are a joy to use. Their lightweight construction made it possible to pack all the clothes we needed for a trip to China where the weight limit is 44 lbs. The expandable suitcases have plenty of "fudge room" for that last minute item or gift for someone at your destination. The ABS shell construction takes all the abuse that ham-handed baggage handlers can dish out as well as being easier to clean than fabric covered luggage. Walking through crowded airports is much easier with the spinner wheels that let you guide the suitcase along beside you on all four spinners instead of dragging it behind (ever been in Beijing airport when there's a snow delay on all flights?). We like the blue and pink ABS models as they are easier to spot on a carousel when we check them. I bought this suitcase specifically to have a four-wheeled carry-on that meets airline regulations of carry-on size. It is a very nice suitcase but considerably deeper than described. Without the front packets, it would be about the listed size. However, the packets, which, of course, cannot be removed, add at least another inch to the depth, even completely empty. So, while I really like the suitcase, I'm worried whether or not airlines will allow me to carry it on airplanes. Considering that meeting airline regulations was one of the most important issues for me when I decided to buy a new carry-on, this is definitely a big issue for me. However, for anyone planning to use this suitcase mostly for car travel, it would be a really a nice, practical, and sturdy case. If not for the size, I would give it a five-star rating."..."  Read more
