We travel several times per year trought Europe with our todler of 21 months now.
PROS:
Its useful and cost wise:
- you don't have to take your own car to the airport because you can go by taxi with the sit n'stroll. So the cost of parking of a taxi is cheaper than the parking in the airport.
- at the arrival you can use any method of transport, taxi or rental car. The cost of a car seat in a rental car is quite high is you add all the rental cars that you will use in the future.
- we have a bugaboo camaleon, so for long trips, we pack our bugaboo in its bag and we check it in and we have something to move inside the airport.
- if you take a sit you can get it in the plane, so the baby can sleep quietly. Most of the times, the baby knowing that can not move like in the car, with the noise of the motors... the baby stays at least more quiet.
- you can take planes at weird hours, because the baby doesn't wake up, because he is all the time in the same place.
- you will always have your sit'n stroll with you in perfect condition when you arrive to destiny (they have loose more than once our bugaboo)
- you will always have your sit'n stroll with you in perfect condition when you arrive in the door(I see sometimes parents that they have to cross all the airport with a todler in their arms, because they didn't get their stroller in the door. And the stroller has arrived with the suitcases quite dirty or broken)
CONS:
- Doesn't drive like regular stroller. But inside airports, buidings, its perfect.
- Wheels should be better. One its already a bit damaged, we have used in streets with a lot of stones (europe)
- To set it up the first time its difficult, they should have a dvd for instructions. Once you get it, its fine.
- Open - Close - To me its a bit hard because I'm small, more if the baby is sleeping inside. But if you don't have option, you will be able to do it ( I have done it alone, several times). Practice first at home.
- in most of the planes you can't enter driving in the sit'n stroll. You have to close it... so, its heavy to carry it.
- if it rains you can't use it.
I will buy it again, but I agree that could be better designed."..." Read more
