I love this crib...amazing quality for the price. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for the HORRIBLE instuctions. For something that is supposed to last you at least 3 years... the instruction manual might as well have been written in Chinese. The instruction was just two sheets of paper with pictures, not a lot of text.
What a Beautiful Crib for a Great Price! Score!

After having been laid off, the hunt for quality and affordable baby items became even more serious. We saw many cribs at different baby merchandise stores, with many that seemed low quality and over priced. We have a smaller room, so we're specifically looking into a crib with a built in changer to help make the most of our space. Many of the cribs we saw in person that were potential buys were actually mini cribs, as the standard size cribs seemed flimsy and the changers and shelving appeared to be made of particle board. I had never purchased anything online, especially not furniture so I was a little hesitant, but since everything in-store was unsatisfying I decided to give it a try. I came across Wayfair.com and after some research found the Portofino and fell in love. While my research lasted a couple more weeks, the Portofino stayed top of mind over other brands and styles. Finally we made the decision to make the purchase, I decided to buy over the phone since I had some size questions, including the changing pad size which is a little smaller and unique than most standard changer pad sizes. I haven't decided if I'm going to try and buy a new one quite yet. The sales associate was amazingly helpful and called me back twice to confirm some questions I had. She helped me make the purchase over the phone and was very informative on their return policy. Once the crib arrived, in its perfect box, we gave it a good look through and were very impressed by the quality of the wood. I haven't noticed any blemishes in the crib, we absolutely love the color and are thankful we opted for the standard size. While we haven't found out the gender of our baby, the color will work great for either boy or girl bedding and color schemes. Even though the original price was already lower than all other competitors, we were able to purchase the crib at an even more discounted price thanks to the holiday season. I'm excited to use this crib through the stages of my babies growth. Good luck with your search and feel safe in knowing this is a great buy!

I just finished putting this crib together, and it's beautiful. I ordered one with the white finish. The instructions were a little bit confusing, and the pieces aren't labeled with little stickers the way that most "assembly required" furniture is, but there is a list of all of the parts and what they look like inside the instruction book. And with a little bit of intuition, it's not too hard to figure out. Took me about 3 hours to put it all together. The only reason I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars is because I'm not sure about the base of the changing table (the part the baby will be laying on). It's not real wood, and it's not very solid. I'm not sure what it's called, but it's similar to the board that usually lines the back of a bookshelf. It's sturdy enough to not bend easily, but it just sits in a track, basically, and I'm a little bit nervous about how it will hold up with a squirmy baby laying on it. Would have rather seen a solid wood board, screwed in, or with a couple of support beams under it. But I think it will be okay! I'm happy to see the crib comes with a pad for the changing table, to make it extra comfy for the babe. All I need now is a mattress! :-)

Love it! I purchased this for my son and daughter-in-law who are expecting a new baby in August and they love it as well. The quality is amazing. It's solid and durable and looks like it will last years to come. This is the third crib I've purchased through your site and all of them have just been marvelous and just fantastic quality. They've ranged in price anywhere from $300 - $600 and the less expensive cribs have been just as good a quality as the more expensive cribs. I've also found them to be anywhere from $200 - $300 more on other sites and in local stores. I'm thrilled with your website and the quality products you provide. I'm definitely a loyal customer.

I love this crib! Our baby isn't here yet so as far as functionality and daily basis use I don't have any input. But I know it looks nice, feels sturdy and was put together by my husband and his friend and 90 minutes. My only complaint, and I am still looking into it, is the wood pieces that make up the inside three drawers on the changing table are actually white and not the espresso color (the outside drawer fronts with the knobs ARE espresso). Those pieces came in a separate box within the main box, so I am not sure if this was a factory mistake or it really is supposed to be white. I hated it at first but once it was put together it looks fine, you don't even see the white until you pull out the drawer. I am going to call and see if this is supposed to be this way, I couldn't find any photos online. Small glitch for how great this crib is.

I really like crib! It is a very nice piece of furniture. I have had it for almost 3 years and still have it in crib position. But am happy about the fact that I will be able to convert this into a toddler bed, then a regular bed. It really does save from having to purchase so many different pieces in a short amount of time. It will take 2 people to put together but is fairly easy to do. You will be very happy with this purchase and it looks great!!
almost a 5-star

absolutely love the crib/changer combo. it's everything I was hoping for! the only thing that could have made it better is if we would have received ALL of the parts! my husband was putting it together and had to make 2 trips to the hardware store due to missing parts (screws & what not). no, we didn't have any left over pieces when it was complete. they truly were missing! not something you'd expect to deal with after spending that much money. the end result...PERFECT!!! I could not be happier! looks perfect in our baby girl's room and I can't wait to use it!!!

This crib is a really good price as it does everything that a $500 $600 $700 crib does but remember that it's that price for a reason. It's not 100% wood, the bottom of the drawers, and shelves in the back are made of cardboard pieces. Some of the parts were not necessarily damaged but had some small dents in them were it looked like they were painted over. Not a huge problem where I wanted to send the product back or you could actually see when put toghther.

We purchased this crib in white and over all love it. Took a couple of hours for my husband and I to put together and wasn't that complicated. The pieces are not labled outside of the directions, so that made it slightly tricky. We thought the holes did not line up correctly for the infant bed level, but we now think those holes were for either the day bed or toddle conversion. So also keep that in mind as well when putting crib together. Can't wait to be able to put our little one into this crib!
I love this crib!

The crib is even more beautiful than the pictures portray. I ordered it in espresso and the wood seems darker than in the pictures. It was fairly easy to assemble and the directions were fair to good. It appears to be of decent quality for the price and I believe I will be able to use it for years to come. Many of the less expensive models had finishes that scratched off easily. This doesn't seem to be the case with this one. Overall, I couldn't be happier with this purchase!
