I purchased the 10 Liter Fermentation pot from Wayfair ( great customer service by the way!!!) for a Christmas Gift for my husband. He was thrilled to receive it, and already has his first batch of sauerkraut working in it ! We already hear the bubbling of the cabbage working without the awful smell. ( when he made sauerkraut in a crock and just covered it. ) I also purchased a book on making sauerkraut and pickled veggies at home to go along with it. My husband was happy about the size and design of the pot, easy with the handles to move around, the center of the pot was plenty big enough for the cabbage and to use the sauerkraut stomper . I think the pot design is classy looking too!!! I will add to this review when we taste our first batch of sauerkraut."..."  Read more

Lovingly used for all these years, until last year when my ancient but favorite 12 quart pot developed a leak?! Calphalon replace it, and 4 other pcs that I returned (no cost) with the newest and lastest - and an enormous no problem, no cost, and continued lifetime warranty. I bought this 5-qt chili pot along with the smaller 1-qt and 2-qt pots. This pot cooks evenly, it is a nice large size, and I like the enamel finish. The only thing that could be better is if the side-handles were completely coated with the insulating rubber-stuff instead of just on the center of the handles. The uncoated metal on the handles gets hot. I read about this in a few other reviews, but bought the pot anyway. With potholders it's not a big issue.
