Very nice looking product

These are very attractive chairs. A bit hard to put together - be VERY careful to not over tighten any of the screws until they are all in, and then tighten all a little at a time. I found some simply did not fit well in certain holes and so had to undo a few times to get them all in without stripping anything. On the plus side once assembled they feel very sturdy. Would have preferred a slightly more substantial cushion stuffing. It feels a bit more "straw-like" than it does cottony, but very comfortable all the same. And the overall look is great. They look like a very nice quality chair. I would buy again! Pros: These are very attractive chairs. I would buy again! Cons: Screws rather hard to get into holes. Chair cushion stuffing feels a bit more "straw-like" than it does cottony, but very comfortable all the same

I received my 2 parsons chairs in record speed. I ordered them in chocolate and the color turned out to be perfect. I am using them for extra seating in my dining room and they are neutral so they work very well. Also they are pretty comfortable for the price. Thanksgiving isn't here yet, but I am already receiving compliments. My only negative comment would be that I had to have my husband help me put them together. The little allen wrench they ship with the hardware is useless. There's no way that anyone, much less a petite woman, can tighten the bolts down using that wrench. Thankfully, like many husbands, he had the correct tool for the job. Great value, great color, great comfort for the price! Assembly could be a little easier than it is.
Dining Room Chair

I purchased four chairs for our dining room and they look lovely.. They did take a bit of time to assemble. They are not the best chair from the bottom, but very nice for the cost. I did see a tag when I was finishing the last one stating that they contain a chemical linked to cancer, that is banned in CA. I am hoping for the best in a well ventilated room.

I love these chairs. They were easy to assemble and very comfortable (we are not light weight people and they are sturdy). I am using them as dining chairs and they fit perfectly under a standard size table. I could just as easily use them as accent chairs in my living room because they look so elegant. Color is true to the pictures and beautiful. Cushioned seats really are cushioned. I highly recommend them. They look much more expensive than they were.

They look great with my farmhouse rustic table or at least the 3 out of 6 that my strong son-in laws were able to put together. The bolts do not line up in the holes at all. You will need a drill and possibly make new holes. The 3 that we put together are working loose making the back of the chair very wobbly. When my 2 year old grandson was sitting on his knees and leaned back, he almost feel straight back and he only weighs 30 lbs. I'm very disappointed I bought 6 and wish I had put that $600 toward better quality chairs. They are worth what I paid for them so I should have known that you can't get a good quality chair for $100 a piece. The wooden legs are of poor quality and have cracks in them so they aren't going to last long.
Really beautiful to look at!

However, the bolts got a bit loose after only a few weeks of use. Easy enough to tighten them, but they only get four stars from me. They are very attractive, and I do not regret getting them at all.

Just what we needed

We finally have a dining room that is complete! Don't think you can put these together? My husband, who has VERY minimal mechanical skills, put them together while I was out. No one has fallen on the floor yet! Seriously, great chairs for a great price. Bought them because we're having lots of family members here in a few weeks and we didn't have any dining room chairs. Buy these.
Even prettier in person

I'm very pleased with these chairs. The upholstery is ample and the quality first rate. I didn't give it a 5 star rating because my husband stripped screw threads while trying to put together the front legs. When I called customer service they were very pleasant and offered to send me replacement legs AT NO COST TO ME. I would definitely recommend Modern Furniture to anyone interested in buying these chairs, stripped threading and all.
Elegant and comfortable

I knew they were beautiful and the price was great. I was able to snag the last two from Clearance, which, they assured me, just meant someone didn't like them in their home...NOT that they were defective. That made them half price! Upon unpacking, noted a slight mar in the seat fabric of one of the Clearance chairs. It was not unlike someone's stud on their jeans scraped the fabric. You had to really look for it in good light to see it, but I was all ready to send it back. My husband talked me out of it, and I'm glad he did. It was a steal and hardly worth it. However, all the other chairs had a wobbling problem. Not even one of the chairs stood solid. The other one that came with the marred chair seat was the worst of all, but it WAS Clearance at half price. Luckily, my hubby is very handy and found a way to fix them: he removed all the feet and through trial and error found the proper size washer to slip in there before nailing the feet back on, therefore making them all rock solid and no wobbles. Some broke as he removed them, so he bought an extra bunch of feet to nail on after adding the washer. So it was a simple fix but quite upsetting when it was noticed. These chairs are sooooo worth a little extra tweaking. They really dressed up my dining room with quiet elegance.
