5 stars After shopping for a kitchen table set for a few years, I finally decided to get a counter height table. I have a very messy family. 2 boys age 4 &7yrs old. lots spills, crumbles you name it. The previous table set I had was not meant for children. glass table, fabric chairs, wrought iron very hard to keep clean. (before having children). 2 things I had to look at. Glass and wood scratch easy, I had to have something very strong and sturdy. I don't like leather furniture and I worried about the buttons on these chairs getting ripped off with my boys playing with them. But my husband talked me into the leather since Im a clean freak and would be cleaning any other material every day with messes. So In Oct we ordered this set. It took longer then I imagined to be delivered but the wait was so worth it in the end. I fell in love the minute it was all put together. I highly recommend paying the extra fee to have it built in home, worth every penny. My boys are loving it too and its a beautiful piece of furniture. I ordered the 8 chairs in brown leather instead of black. The brown gives it a softer richer look and the pleated stitching gives it character. I have a small kitchen area and it fits well. I don't have a dinning room so this is my only place to gather for meals and it feels very comfortable. The stone top is real not plastic or hallow. It is a solid piece of granite and very well made. I m hoping down the road to purchase the matching server/buffet table. The best part is, I don't find myself cleaning the table as much because I don't see any finger prints. LOVE IT!"..."
