Hate this mailbox from Long Island, New York	1.0 7/16/2011 Very difficult to put the lock on. Why this mail box doesn't come with the lock on? Not everyone knows how to put the lock on even though read the instruction. Think again if your buy this mailbox if you don't know how to put the lock on. This is a great mailbox, and the feature that lets the mail fall down out of reach is very nice, as if you are going to be away when the mail comes just remove the shelf and let the mail drop to the bottom and when you get home you open it with your key and get you unmolested mail. We have never had any problems, but it only takes one time for someone to put your ID in jeopardy. Very easy to assemble, takes a matter of minutes, all parts fit perfectly. I dug a post hole and cemented the treated 4X4 and the next day after the cement set up, I sawed the post off to the right height with my chainsaw. Very easy. A child could do it, well maybe not my grandson, he's only 19. Was this helpful? Yes / No
