The spacious interior compartment of the secure package delivery box accepts a variety of commonly sized packages. Ensure your packages are always safe by securing the parcel box. Optionally, for further security, the base accommodates ground anchors (commonly referred to as trampoline stakes/anchors or u-stakes) with 2/3in inside radius, the base can be weighed down by 100lbs of dry sand, or the package box can also accept a tether if the box is located near a secure tiedown point (not included). I was so impressed with the Highland post and mailbox after I installed it that I sent Step2 and email of praise. It is the most solidly built item I have had the pleasure of putting together that I can remember. Every few years my mailbox gets destroyed by the snow pressure from the city snow plow.
