Step2 Lift and Hide Bookcase Toy Box with Lid

Easy to assemble, some minor splintered plastic on edging inside the toybox (not sharp and just leftover from the manufacturing process, needs a wipe down on the inside of the toybox. Overall good.

This toy box was great! It holds a lot of toys and isnt big and bulky. We put it in my daughters room and she just loves it!

This toybox in great it has a lot of storage and the lid hides the toys. There for the room looks neat. It holds a lot of books on the book shelfs.

I bought 2 of these for storing my 2 year-olds toys and books. I was worried about him climbing on the bookcase we used to have in his room, and these storage chests and bookshelves were by far the best option. They look great and are very sturdy, safe, and easy to put together. When closed, my son cant climb on them. When in the open position, he can climb inside however, he cant get locked in, and because the units are so lightweight, I dont have to worry like I did with the bookcase. I got the units with the red tops, and the red is a true red, not too light, not too dark, and not at all overpowering. Highly recommend.

Best storage for hiding big bulky toys, and great book shelve .Super sturdy and was very easy to built. My daughter likes storing all her dolls in hear , should of bought sooner.

For the most part I am happy with this item. It does what I need it to and looks very nice in my daughters room. The reason it's not 5 stars is because of the plastics quality. I've noticed this with a lot of the companies lately. It's just not the same thickness or strength as these items used to be. Now after saying that , the top of the bookcase is not very stable. It has bowed and the books slide to the middle. I find this really horrible considering the price and the fact I have family that work in the plastics industry. It wouldn't have been that difficult nor expensive to make this a more stable shelf. I'm going to suggest only things like stuffed animals go on the top of this or its going to bow sadly. Other then that, it should work fine for you .Top was easy to screw together.

Sturdy and durable, toddler friendly bookcase. My son loves it and loves to put his toys away in the chest. It has an ample amount of shelf space for his books. I would definitely recommend it!!
