This chest is the second I've purchased.The chests are roomy, and do not take up a lot of space. The shelf, in my opinion, was not useful to hold books, but it does hold smaller toys.

Arrived very quickly after shipping, although it seemed to take a while to ship. However, the box arrived in a timely manner.

This is a great, safe, and very large toy box; but the one problem, is that the plastic surface is slick, so things put on the shelfs can slide off easily.

loved the durability and size, purchased for a 3 year old, worried with mail order it would be large enough and was pleasantly surprised when 3 children ages 3 5 &7 climbed inside and closed the lid thank God they left an air space between lid and box. plan to purchase another soon for a shower gift

Very easy to assemble. Durable to a 22 month old. No smashed fingers and the top sliding into the bookshelf is wonderful. Thats one less thing to be thrown in the floor with all of the toys! Very satisfied with toy chest,[...]

I have limited room for all the required toys of a toddler....this fits very well into our living room and makes an easy place for us to "hide" her toys.

Bought this for my two grandaughters birthdays ages 2 and 6. Both of them love it. I like how the lid stays back so dont have to worry about it falling on the little ones head or fingers.

I love this item! It was super easy to set up, with no screws anywhere. The bad side of that is I can't set up anything fragile on the bookshelf part because it slides back whenever I push the toy box lid out of the way. But all in all a very good buy, at a good price. It keeps all my daughters toys in one place. It's fairly sturdy (besides what I mentioned above), and very safe. I'm so thankful that she can't pinch her fingers in the lid!
