Statues & Figurines

I gave this to my 15 year-old niece as a birthday gift. (It's always difficult to know what to get young girls at this age.) She was delighted. She sent me a written thank you note saying she loved it and that it was "really cool" and now has a special place in her room. The reason I gave her the cyclist sculpture is that she and her father, who is a cancer survivor, participate in the Lymphoma/Leukemia cycling events to raise money for research. I bought this for a friend who I felt needed to be reminded of Owl's Medicine, and when we saw this magnificent work of art once it was pulled from the beautifully wrapped box, both of our mouths hit the floor. We both immediately started to stroke the outside, feeling all the time and energy that the artist put into creating such beauty that is revealed in its immaculate detail. Perfect size and weight. Not too bulky but the cast bronze gives it weight and real substance."
