Anyone who enjoys sailing ship models and the history of sail will enjoy this model. There are larger and smaller sizes of this model but at 38 inches for most homes or offices this will be a perfect fit. While you can buy a case for it I prefer having it without a case and find that a blower type of duster works well. The vintage cogs make wonderful industrial-style decorative items, even when used with ecclectic interiors. They actually appear to be constructed of metal, until you pick them up and discover their lightness. I have all three designs and they look just great.
