This is a beautiful wheelchair (even got compliments on it) with a great idea, being able to go from standard to transport chair and back very easily. This enabled me to be able to break it into pieces and lift it myself. Im limited to 20 lbs., so I cant lift other collapsible standard chairs at all. Ive only used it for one very long day at Disneyland, but it proved very easy to use and durable. My caregivers expressed that it was the easiest to push wheelchair they had encountered! I have two complaints. First of all, the breaks for the large wheels did not work at first. I ended up having to figure out how to change the setting, using a wrench I had to borrow from my father. Nothing about this was included in the instructions or the tools! Good thing Im mechanically inclined! Secondly, I could not adjust the footplates for my long legs. When I tried to do it according to the instructions, one of the footplate arms almost broke."..."  Read more

I use this wheelchair to get by on a daily basis as I suffer from a debilitating disease called RSD Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy which has made it impossible for me to bear any weight. The armrests have amazing strength and durability to them allowing me stability in transferring myself in and out of bed, the car and other transfers I have to do throughout the day. The adjustable back is great. You can set it perfectly from one day to the next to how your back is feeling and I LOVE the upholstery on this wheelchair. It is unlike any I have had before. It is an extra-stuffed, durable, water-resistant slick nylon. This is the 3rd wheelchair I have had and it is the BEST I have ever had and the one I am sticking with. This wheelchair has been perfect. We needed to purchase one because our insurance company was going to charge us $35.00 a month and it seemed smarter to just buy one. I saw this one and did some good reviewing of my own about this model # and found it to be the right one. It was about an inch narrower than some others I looked at and it made a huge difference. This wheelchair will fit through ALL of our doorways with no problems. The seat has soft cushioning for comfort. It is a bit narrower of a seat than some standard wheelchairs but not by much. This is the highest quality wheelchair I have ever seen and I spent 3 months "shopping around" at medical supply retailers and online websites carefully comparing before ordering from Wayfair. Yes it is heavy at around 50 lbs but it moves with amazing ease. It also has a really nice finish. Not the typical cold, institutional chrome with tacky blue upholstery offered by everyone else.
