The side board are not flush with the headboard so I have a huge gap on both sides. I could stick my foot in it. That's how big it is. Now I'm stuck and I don't know what to do about this problem. Beautifully crafted, very sturdy, and a great value for the money! The bed looks very rich and elegant. All in all, it was a great experience, and I've purchased many things from Wayfair since ordering this bed. I feel confident that this company is the best place to order furniture online. Service Review There was a slight issue with the freight company used to ship the item to my home (their mistake, NOT Wayfair's), but they made it right and compensated me for the trouble by assembling the bed for me upon arrival. The material is soft, the side boards are stury and assembly is relatively fast and easy. I strongly suggest you buy a box spring for proper mattress support even though the descriptions says you only need a mattress. The 3 slats are not enough. Also we were shorted 6 of the long bolts required for the headboard assembly so had to go out and buy some. Overall we are very happy with the purchase. Service Review Delivery was not so prompt. The error was with the freight company. Had a scheduled delivery and an hour after they were suppose to be here I was online chat with the freight company looking for my delivery...was told they would arrive with the hour (50 minutes). One hour later I was back on chat looking for my delivery and then I was told I would not be receiving it. Thanks for the call. Apparently the driver pushed my box to the front of the truck and forgot to deliver it. Uh huh. I asked for the earliest available delivery for the next day and was told they could not guarantee I would have it before 10:00am. How many days must you inconvience me and make me rearrange my schedule? It arrived the next day all beat up so I had the driver wait while I opened the box and inspected every single part.
