Great bike for every day use.

VHadden from New Orleans

I ride 85-100 miles/week, and I got this bike because it's finally too dark for me to ride outside. So, I use this bike during the week, and ride outdoors on the weekends. This bike is great for helping me to maintain endurance, and for getting a great cardio workout if that's what you're looking for. It's easy to use, easy to adjust, and easy to move around. The electronics are simple, and I find that it's just enough...not too many complicated bells & whistles, but enough customization for an average user.My two complaints would be the seat, and the calorie counter. I'm short (5' 3"), and the lack of adjustments on the seatback height mean that I'll have a backache after about an hour. So, I use a pillow to sit/lean against in the seat. Regarding the calorie counter, I don't find it to be accurate at all. The average person will burn approx 500 cal/hour on an exercise bike. After an hour on this one, my calorie counter reads around 700, which is closer to what I'd burn in an hour of running. Not sure if the bike is compensating for the higher tension of my ride or what, but I don't rely on the bike's counter to determine my calories burned.Other than those two minor issues, I totally love this bike. It's perfect for my use, and I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was. I was prepared to pay around [$] for a good recumbent, but got this one for around half that. Two thumbs up!

Highly Recommend!

Marian from Fort Wayne, IN– Verified Buyer

It took me awhile to saddle-up on this thing, but I'm glad I took the plunge. This bike is sturdy and it doesn't take much peddling to get it going. It has a wide and comfortable seat which I love and it contains various programs to challenge which I'm thankful for. For the price, this bike is definitely a WINNER! I have no complaints only great results to show off. Thanks again Wayfair for prompt service as I received my bike within a week.

Good for the price

Exercise Newby from Oklahoma

I am female, 22, 5' 7", 220 lbs, and need to NEED to lose weight. The thing is though that I never have been into exercising. Since I have been back from holidays, I suprisingly have been using it everyday for an hour. This is more than I have worked out in a long time. It is a pretty good product for the price with just a few issues.

#1: Before I left for the holidays, I wasn't able to get on for a week or so. One day the monitor just started freaking out making this loud, high pitched, constant noise that made me think it was a fire alarm. I finally realized that it was the bike, and had to start pushing buttons like crazy to get it to stop. It did that for 2 days before I removed the batteries. After break when I got to riding it, I left the batteries in and haven't had any issues. This might just be some once in a life time glitch, or my cat could have just sat on the controls too long.

#2: It is hard to adjust the length of the controls. Not the hardest thing to do in the entire world, but enough to be a hassle when you are trying to make it shorter.

#3: The seat is a little wierd. The seat back and bottom are already set. Not only that but it is set where you are in a forced, unnatural, slightly leaned back position. I find it slightly annoying because it doesn't provide any lower back support. This is slightly nice because it allows air to get to your lower back, but mine starts hurting. My husband who is 6 foot and just as much overweight, does not have a problem with this. So this could just be a matter of preference.

#4: If you wiggle a little, you can accidently run that bone on the inside of your foot into the bar to the foot peddle. This might also be because I like being barefoot.... even when exercising.

By no means is this the top of the line recumbent bike, but it gets the job done with enough options to provide a nice workout.

Great Bike at a Great Price!!

Lew from Farmington Hills, MI

I'm a 'seasoned' citizen with two hip replacements and ride a bike year round for fun and exercise... along with the gym. I bought this to 'ride'on those days when the temp drops below 20 and the roads aren't dry. I like the programmed workouts, the pre-set dialed resistance settings and the step through mounting. This is a quality, well made product at a great price. I buy most things on-line and bought the bike after a thorough web search. [...] it went together quite easily. Being a guy I don't read instructions.. and didn't need them. It was that easy[...] I had to choose between doing the assembly or knocking back with some nog on Christmas Eve. The nog got the nod. Took about an hour to put together the next day. Relieved some of that Christmas Day boredom.I've already recommended the bike and the FE&M web site to several friends... and don't expect any repurcussions for doing so. All in all a very satisfying shopping experience from the comfort of my easy chair and computer. I'll be back :-)

Good comfort

Arleen from Sudbury, ON– Verified Buyer

We purchased this bike while in Florida and used it every day - we purchased another one after returning home and it is comfortable to use. It is easy to move the adjustable seat and the back rest gives good support.

Great purchase

Pat from Henderson, NV– Verified Buyer

Received my bike in good condition, was easy to put together, took about an hour.

The bike fits my needs perfectly. It's quiet, is comfortable and doesn't take up much room. I have it in my living room and I peddle away and watch TV. It's also has wheels on it, so it's not hard to move it if needed.

I am very happy with my purchase, the price I paid and the quality of the item. Thank you Wayfair.
