Quiet Running, Good Resistance
Sam from chicago, IL – Verified Buyer
It's the quietest exercise bike i've ever used and it's pretty easy to put together too, takes about 30 minutes. The increase in resistance from level 1-16 is not evenly tiered, but it's totally good enough if you're looking to do 15 miles at a time with "medium" resistance. The cup holder is kind of pathetic and it won't hold onto anything besides the water bottle it came with.
Good bike if you are taller than 5'3"

Excellent exercise bike in the living room. Relatively easy to assemble. Took off the seat support cover to get a better reach to the screw holes at the base. Seat is comfortable and easily adjusted, but you cannot be shorter than 5'3" with shoes on or else you cannot quite reach the foot pedals. More than 10 different fitness programs to choose from and the pulse sensor on the hand rests will work if your palms are positioned correctly. A slight squeeze on the hand rests may help it to detect your pulse. Slight humming noise can be heard when the magnets shift, but not really noticeable if you have your TV on. You can definitely watch TV while riding this bike without turning up the TV volume higher than usual viewing.
manufacturer doesn't know it's product.

i don't know how to respond to many of the questions because one of the most useful tools on the bike is the heart rate monitor and it hasn't worked since day one. i called the manufacturer and told them the monitor was not working. instead of your heart rate being displayed a P was in it's place. the first customer rep didn't know what the P indicated but thought the problem may lie in the handle bars so she promptly sent me another handle bar. this did not correct the problem.i have since spoken with two additional reps and they have no idea what's wrong. i have since taken the bike completely apart to check all of the connections to no avail.[...]t has been approximately one month since it has arrived and we have not been able to use it. no one from stamina has been able to figure out the problem. i have heard nothing from them in about a week. i am ready to box it up and send it back.
