Stamina InMotion Elliptical Trainer - So far so good!
Leigh from Annandale, VA– Verified Buyer
I like this little machine. I'm in pretty bad shape and initially found it hard to use standing up -- hurt my legs -- however I seem to be building up a couple minutes each day. I have no problems using it sitting down and have it under my desk to use while at my desk or watching TV -- unless I'm transcribing because then I need my foot (one of them for my foot pedal) The little computer keeps track of number of steps,(inlcudes either direction), time, distance, and calories burned. I like that I can have some indication when going for the aerobic capacity and I like being able to get an idea of what I've done when I am using it sort of passively at my desk. I think it is going to replace my stationary bike! I can't really tell difference in tension but so far I am trying to keep it on the easiest and haven't really dug in and investigated that control. When standing, I work up a sweat fairly quickly and my heart rate goes into the aerobic range with no delays -- I like it -- I don't know if it's love but it is serious like.
Great for easy exercise

I put this small stepper in my living room, in front of the TV, so that I can hop on it throughout the evening. It helps me try to get to my 10K steps per day. One caution - it can be difficult to balance at first...make sure you are close to something for balancing.

This is a fantastic little machine! So light and easy to move from room to room. I can easily bring it out to my living room and get a great workout while watching some TV - makes the workout time go by sooooo fast :) I have wanted to add an elliptical machine to my workout routine but didn't have room for a big bulky machine - this gives me the same workout and it's so compact. Love it!
Does the job

I wanted something small and easy to move around but something I could feel like I was getting a nice workout on. This fits the bill, with a few exceptions. Since the unit does not have handlebars, which is a plus if you want to sit and use it, it requires some balance to stay upright - so you have to be vigilant not to lose your balance and teeter-totter. Also - it started making noise pretty quickly - kind of a drag since I do use it while I am watching TV. I've not had it that long, so I am not sure how long it will last.

This tiny machine gives a great work out with out taking up to much space. I put it behind a chair in my living room and work out on it while I watch TV. It is just as hard as the elliptical at the gym, but much simpler to use and isn't an eyesore. I love it!
easy indoor exercise

I bought this machine to use at a beach house during the summer. It doesn't require as much exertion as the elliptical at my gym but is an inexpensive alternative for hot summer days when I don't want to jog outside or go to the gym.

This works great under my computer table. The table must be high enough so you don't bump your knees. I have my computer screen on a 3" stand which includes a pull out keyboard shelf on top of the table which is about 28" high. Great solution for someone with arthritis or knee problems.

Love the convenience of it. It definitely gets me started and motivated. Glad I decided to purchase it and i couldn't beat the price. My legs feel amazing. I now use it as a warm up for my run outside.
Good addition to workout routine

Great for when it's too hot (or too cold) to run outdoors. I like the adjustable tension. And it is better than an electronic stepper because you can go forwards or backwards.
works up a sweat

Bought this for convenience. I use it about 3- 4 times a week. A good buy if you don't have room for larger equipment.
