Very happy with purchase I bought this bike for exercise. Due to a hip injury, I'm unable to engage in most exercise activities. I've had the bike for a few weeks and have used it for 30 minutes rides between 7-9 miles per hour. So far, I am very pleased. Putting it together was time consuming (4 hours) but the directions were clear and all parts labeled. I am NOT mechanically inclined so I'm sure others would not have spent so much time on that. The bike is very quiet and comfortable for the most part. The seat is not highly comfortable but what bike seat is? My back is not the best so I was initially concerned about an upright but I've had no problems at all. I am 5'8" and 200 pounds and the bike feels quite solid and sturdy. My shoes can hit the gear shaft if I turn the heels inward too much so people with large feet (I wear a women's size 9 to 9.5) might occasionally hit it as well. I am pleased with this bike and would definitely buy it again. |

Buyer Beware! Poor Stamina cust.srvc! Bike seemed to be fine at first, smooth, quiet and fairly comfortable but I had an issue with the "computer". The display was poor, only half of each letter or number would "light". Called Stamina and was sent a replacement "computer" promptly and it worked better for a short time; then it went out completely. From that point on more parts were sent out starting with the cheapest first and working our way up while each time it was expected I go in and do the mechanical part of these repairs.....take this apart, try that, etc. It was noted by their customer service department that a special tool was needed to remove the crank arms and this was up to me to have or purchase said tool. This is where I lost my patience after spending an hour or two to put the bike together out of the box, then rip it down and try moving the sensor to it's correct position and reassemble, that's another hour and a half. Then Stamina wanted to send me a new sensor and wire and I should install that. FORGET IT! I bought this bike to "work out" on not WORK ON! Bottom line if you don't care how far you've gone or how fast your going I think it would have been a decent bike but when you are buying something new and spending your hard earned money on something such as this I would think the manufacturer for one would have put a much better "computer" on the unit and two, been much more sympathetic to the amount of time they were expecting me to put into this brand new piece of excercise equipment. Good Luck! |
