this is the first time I own a rowing machine,so I cant compare to another one,but anyway,i got this today and it took me an hour to fully assemble it,i notice that this machine is not cheaply made, its well made and seems like will last for a long time, anyway,i try it for 5 min and I can really feel the muscle on my arms, legs, back and abs the pain sensation, that means that this beast really works....buy it,you wont regret it...

Looked at every simple rower on the market and decided on this one because the arms actually rotate giving you more freedom when bringing them back to start. You can also simply row in a forward to back motion without the rotation. I liked this machine (the 1215 Orbital Rower) because I had both the options. This is even improving my back strength amazingly. I never thought I'd really like it but I love it. Highly recommended for someone who wants cardio but also to include the upper body for a bit more of a total body cardio/strength. Simple to put together if you're not an idiot however the actual diagram is incorrectly positioned in a few steps so be careful and use your head while assembling. Love it Love it Love it.
Perfect for what i need it for

Easy to install. Sturdy, well built frame. Setting up the level of resistance requires tightening a friction clamp rather than a simpler lock - may not be easy. The padding on the hand grip a little too soft and likely to wear out.

Really good piece of equipment. Built well and provide good range for workout growth.

Assembly was pretty easy! This rowing machine is perfect for my husband and I! Being able to go from incline to flat is great! Also, it is easy to just collapse and store in our laundry room.
I love it!

This is a terrific rower. I almost purchased the model one step down in price but read reviews about the arms breaking so I opted for the pricier model. I need surgery to replace the big toe joint in my left foot so my physical capabilities for exercise have been limited. Too much overtime at work has also curttailed my activity. Meantime, I needed some sort of exercise to keep from gaining too much weight. This machine fits the bill nicely. The seat is comfortable enough for an extended workout and I felt the strength returning to my arms and legs after just two weeks of using the rower every other day. I'm a condo dweller so my floor space is limited. This machine is compact enough with the arms down that it slides beneath my bed after I have finished exercising for the evening. I couldn't be more pleased.

This is a really great machine. It folds nice and small so I can just put it in my closet and I don't have to go to the gym!
