I purchased this for my RV. It works great and expands nicely for guests. When not used for dining I use it for a desk with one leaf

I really love this table. It is small until you need the extra space and then it is easy to pull out.
great for condo without dining room

This expanding table is great! It looks like a sideboard in the living room, but it expands to seat at least 7 dinners comfortably. I got the 6 matching chairs, which tuck neatly into corner of the spare room and are very comfortable and sturdy. This is a great solution for people who like to have dinner parties but do not want to devote a whole room to a dining table. (Our dining room is now a family room.) Very well-made and well-finished.

Just what I was looking for. Very impressed by the quality of this piece of furniture. Nothing to put together.
Perfect for my small house
Sharon Romack from Arlington Heights, IL
My house has stayed small but my grandchildren have not. I had no room for a larger table. This was the perfect answer! Very attractive and sturdy. Two year old grandson even clapped the first time he saw it fold up into the cabinet! I highly recommend this for small spaces!

This is exactly what I was looking for.! Extremely easy to expand Into any size table you wish. It is very solid, which is important to me. It looks nice as a stand alone piece, too. Definitely a keeper and a bargain.

This is a surprizing nice piece of furniture for the price, I would have expected to pay over 1000. for this once seeing it and using it, Perfect for my daughters townhouse, She hosted Thanksgiving Christmas this year with plenty of seating and after dinner it was put away opening up the room for th erest of the festivities, Perfect thing for occational entertaining or those tight on space,

Stakmore makes a terrific dining room table for the space deprived home. We have a small city apartment and dinner parties with fork-food dishes was getting tedious. This table pulls out into the empty middle of our living room and using the companion Stakmore dining chairs, we can seat 7 or 8. The table mechanism is brilliant, even has a centre support leg that flips down. It was a little stiff to expand to its full length the first time, but with careful pulling on each side we were amazed at its true length! Its only downside is its veneered mdf so very heavy, but well constructed for the price. It even has storage in one half of the cabinet the other side stores the leaves needed. Brilliant idea for condos and apartments.
All of Stakmore's chairs and tables are constructed of solid hardwood that has been dried to the proper moisture content for the North American climate. Why should you care about that? Wood used in furniture that has not been dried properly will give off moisture over time, shrinking, creating gaps in joints, cracking and splitting.
After drying, machining and assembling furniture the most visible part of furniture and the critical point that differentiates most furniture in the customers mind is the finish. Stakmore utilizes a multi-step stain, sealer and topcoat process to provide a rich durable finish on all products.
Stakmore takes great pride in being an environmentally friendly company and has been one for decades. For over 30 years Stakmore has utilized all scrap wood waste and sawdust as fuel to heat their factory and dry the lumber used. In addition Stakmore helps area cabinet shops avoid adding to the landfill by taking their excess wood waste, grinding it up and burning it for fuel. By utilizing 100% of the lumber purchased they reduce their need for fossil fuels.
Even the purchase of lumber takes into consideration renewability. All lumber used comes from managed, sustainable forests. Following managed forestry practices ensures that future generations will have forests and that animals will still have homes.
