In its starting position this table is a provinicial console or sofa table, by pulling out the back legs and flipping the hinged top it easily becomes a 40" by 49" game/dinette table. If more seating area is needed, simply extend the table further and add two leaves (included) and you get a 72" long dining table easily seating six people. With a distressed black frame and light oak finish top this piece of furniture will be the most versatile piece in your home.

It isn't easy to find affordable solutions for small spaces, so I was thrilled when I stumbled across this product. The table is nice enough looking and easy to dress up (I changed the "drawer" handle), and it's style is easy to match with other pieces. It isn't that easy to open (the instructions recommend two people for the job), but in the console position it's large enough to serve as a breakfast bar for two people.
