Overall Im really happy with the product, I need a something for the stairs going down to the basement. The back of the carpet stayed pretty well on the stairs but I added double stick tape just to have a more secure. Now I can actually go downstairs and not worry about slipping on my stairs. Beata R. I haven't used these treads yet as I want to paint my steps. I like the color and look of these treads, especially if I place them on dark gray steps. They seem flimsy though and I don't know if they will stay on the steps without carpet tape (none was suggested nor was any included), but again I haven't put them down yet. There are 15 treads, which is a good number. I plan on using 2 of the treads together on a landing to continue the look. I will review these again after I actually use them.. Halle.
