Sportsman 2,000 Watt LP Propane Gas Generator
So far, so great!
Tony from Utah– Verified Buyer
I installed this in my basement just as soon as I got it. We've already used it several times and it's just great. It's very user friendly. Just push a button and pull the chord and you're off. It's got just the right amount of power and it's very quiet. Excellent purchase.
MY Emergency Friend

Purchased post-Sandy to get us through the worst. Powered up my furnace, refrigerator and some lights. We were so happy to have a hot shower. Love the fact it uses propane and not gasoline.

I ordered this generator after Hurricane Sandy (fortunately we didn't need it then). I like the idea of having a propane-fueled generator that is always ready in an emergency. This one isn't very powerful, but it's small and light so it should be easy to store out of the way.
Thank God for this little Gem

This little generator provided enough electricity to run a typically refrigerator of 7amps, a small tv, a dvd player, 3 lights, a radio, an occasional 900w microwave and charged up to 5 phones during 36 hours of no power caused by Hurricane Sandy. Not only did it do that flawlessly, but it only consummed 1 and 1/4 tanks of LP during those 36 hours. It did not run during the night, but must of the days involved. It was truely a lifesaver, and were I live power outages are common, so I will definitley be using it again. Bought 2 extra LP tanks with gauges for ease of reading figuring 1 that I already had for the BBQ and 2 more would get us thru at least a week if necessary. Still have 3/4 tank and the BBQ is still full, but great thing is the gas will always be used and I'll always have the tanks filled and ready to go if necessary. Starting was relatively easy, just about 3 pulls even when in the 40's outside. Unit is very light, and went right into a utility closet when power was back up. Really love the fact that there is not gas to deal with.
If you live in the Bahamas this one for you

Great Propane Generator!

We use two of them to power all the most important things we need in a power outage...without gasoline! The gas stations are all down when the power is out so these are easy and lightweight running on propane.

Work right out of the box 3 pulls and it started right up i did not have the time to let it run long
Don Post from Chimacum, WA
This is the perfect generator for light-duty standby service. The LPG never goes bad in long term storage. I use mine in a remote garage for lights and power tools.
