Sporting & Gun Travel Cases

This is the 2nd such case I purchased. The new case now has hasps that one can use a lock in conjunction with the key locks on the case. I have used my old case several times and it holds up to the airport 800lb gorillas they use to move the stuff around. The case is the bunk bed style and I transport a rifle, shotgun and two handguns in the one case. Overall length of long guns has to be 40" or less. For evaluation I purchased both this case and the Pelican double rifle case, both are very stout cases. The separate bunkbed design of the SKB Double Rifle Case was the deciding factor in sticking with the SKB case.The integrated TSA latch locks (2) are a nice option. This is a great case and I recommend it to anyone. Make sure your bow is on the list of bows that fit this case. Case holds a dozen arrows no problem. If you have a bulky quiver you may have difficulty fitting it in the case with your bow. Also very long stabilizers would have to be taken off before storing bow but shorter normal size for hunting have no issue. There are multiple handles depending on how you want to carry the case plus wheels that are great when traveling in airports and hotels."..."  Read more

Ordered this for a used SBK shotgun I had picked up and an old softside case I had wouldn't fit. This case is very rugged, lockable, and handsome. The gun will be well protected by anyone moving it around. Interior is plush and my 28" barrel gits with room to spare. It also has bumpers on 2 sides so it doesn't get scratched up whether it's on it's horizonatal edge putting the gun in or closed up on edge.
