Before I purchased this Gun Case I researched many Gun Cases By Plano, I read all the reviews and didn't like what I was reading. I happened to read one review comparing the Plano Gun Case against the Flambeau Gun Case and after reading that review I was sold. I received my case on time and in excellent condition. The case is well made and uses a piano hinge system. The foam inside the case is very nice,it is nice and thick. That was one of the selling points of this case. There is plenty of room inside this case, I have a Gamo Whisper w/Scope which is about 46in. long and I still have room for my cleaning kit and six tins of pellets. PLENTY OF CLEARANCE FOR THE CROSSBOW SCOPE. BOW ATTACHES SECURELY AND DOES NOT MOVE IN TRANSIT. THE HINGE SEEMS TO BE A BIT LIGHT WEIGHT CONSIDERING THE STRENGTH OF THE REST OF THE CASE. IT'S TOO BULKY TO CARRY TO THE FIELD AND HARD TO ATTACH TO AN ATV. I PURCHASED A SOFT CASE FOR THOSE PURPOSES. WOULD BE IDEAL FOR SHIPPING YOUR BOW OR FOR LONG TERM STORAGE. MY SCOPE IS ALWAYS STILL DEAD ON AFTER TRANSPORTATION IN THIS CASE. BOW SECURES IN CASE EASILY AND THE SMALL STORAGE IN THE PILLARS ARE HANDY.THERE IS PLENTY OF ROOM FOR BOLTS BUT NO WAY TO SECURE THEM. I AM USING THE CASE TO TRANSPORT A TENPOINT PROFUSION."..." I ordered the 10.5" case and then later the 14" case. Both are great products for the price. Both cases fit my needs perfectly. I used the 10.5 for a 8" H&R .22 Magnum Revolver. Perfect fit with added room. The second case (14") I use for a Hi Point .45 ACP with 2 extra clips, nice fit. I can also use the 14" to transport the 45 and a kel-tec p-11 9mm with extra clips for both."..." Read more
