Seams to be sturdy and has plenty of padding.Hinges and locks seem to be a little on the inexpensive side but does have a place for 2 padlocks.Could use a couple of tie down straps and would be worth the cost to add at the factory. Steve from Clemmons, NC	5.0 5/23/2010 Very Strong and Well Made I bought this case to carry a dynamic cone penetrometer, which is used to test soil strength for foundations. It consists of a 15# steel disc slide hammer on heavy walled drilling pipe and hardened steel cone. I tried other ways to carry this and other heavy tools in my SUV and nothing gave me the peace-of-mind necessary to secure them in such a way that they would not become projectiles in the event of an accident. With extensions and other tools I have about 70# in this case and it has stood up well for about three years now. Was this helpful? Yes / No
