Gershon of 1685 from Albuquerque	4.0 12/13/2010 Almost bullet proof I use the case to carry musical instruments. The interior straps were removed surgically. It is heavier than I need and perhaps heavier than I want (I should get used to using the wheels), but I know my expensive instruments will be safe. The price seems good for such a strong case. I might need a second one. Beauty? Perhaps a bit much for a concert hall, but it stays back-stage and so is right for me. Was this helpful? Yes / No
MrBuffalo54 from NC	3.0 1/29/2010 OK for occasional use. Product Review Baggage handlers love to throw gun cases on the ground (are you reading this AA?). This case has hard plastic feet which will not withstand many tosses. Mine has a foot dented in after only one trip. If the aluminum were thicker this might not happen. Eggcrate padding inside will not securely hold a rifle, stack your ammo in it's factory boxes around your rifle to prevent movement (yes this is allowed by most airlines). Latches will not stay closed. It is not practicle to use the key locks to secure the latches as you will be asked to stand around the check-in area for 20 minutes in the event that TSA wants to open and inspect. But it does have about 4 places where you can use a TSA padlock to lock the case (2 of them on a latch). I do not like the hinges which hold the case open in an "L" shape. I prefer a case which opens flat. The wheels are a plus. I bought this case for a one way trip with two rifles so it did serve its purpose. For most of my trips I use a case made out of much thicker aluminum. Service Review Service and delivery by CSN was top rate. I received the case much sooner that I expected. Was this helpful?
