Speaker Stands

The stands are tall enough to give the right angle for listening. Very solid stands. I adjusted the spikes a little longer in the front to give more angle. You don't want to make the fronts too long which would make the stand a little unstable, especially if you have tall tower speakers. The stand would be best if the manufacturer would have made it 4 spikes (2 in front & 2 in back) instead of 3 (2 front & 1 back). I put B&W 603 series on these stands which are approx 32 inches tall. The stands handle them great. One other minor issue is that the spikes are not pointed enough to pierce carpet and solidly couple to the floor. I bought these stands for my surround Polk Monitor 40 speakers which are pretty large for surround (they have 2 6.5 inside). I liked the design and found the stand looks like it does online. It is sturdy which was needed, bc my surround set is large. I have carpet so the spikes keep the stand in place and proper speaker positioning (weight distribution) keeps them from moving at all. It comes with double sided tape but I wont be sticking those on my speakers until I dont care abt them. The height was great as they rise over my sectional. The Solid Cherry Hardwood Series 26" Speaker Stands by Wood Technology are used with my new Yamaha Surround Theater System! Money well spent!Great additional color to my living room. They match my T.V. cabinet us "perfectly". The color is darker then the first picture on display, the one with the group picture gives the color of the stands much better (IMO). The 26 inch size is just perfect for anyone wanting speaker stands for a surround system. My rear speaker are 81/2 inches high so it puts them just a few inches above your ear for better listening (when sitting down in a chair in the living room).Extremely easy to put together, my 5 year old grandson helped me put them together (he was a big help, very mature for his age......LOL).[...] I truly "recommend" these stands for anyone that is looking to add a wonderful looking Cherry addition to their rec room or living room. I had a stand custom-made from solid cherry,then realized I would need stands for the front surrounds. Wayfair is the only retailer I could find offering stands made of all hardwoods, and they're MADE IN THE USA! The fit and finish was great, easy to assemble, and the wire-routing groove is a nice touch. I would have bought the 16", but the speaker base plate of the 21" was a better match for my speakers. I wish you could choose base-plate/stand combination, if anyone is asking,but ultimately I have no complaints about these stands. High quality, great looking."..."  Read more
